Boutwell Studios began in 1961. In the ensuing years, it’s been their mission to employ the latest technology, as well as a seasoned engineering staff, to help their clients craft new and interesting ways to communicate ideas worldwide.
Jennifer Harwell Art Gallery opened in downtown Homewood’s Soho Square in June, operating as a working studio and gallery featuring works by over 50 local, regional and international artists. Majority of works include paintings, photographs and sketches.
Red Dot was opened in September 2004 by artists Scott Bennett and Dori DeCamillis. Now located in the
Edgewood area of Homewood, Red Dot is the working studio, gallery and teaching space of Bennett and DeCamillis.
Vulcan, Birmingham, Alabama's colossal statue is the world's largest cast iron statue and considered one of the most memorable works of civic art in the United States. Designed by Italian artist Giuseppe Moretti and cast from local iron in 1904, it has overlooked the urban landscape of Alabama's largest city since the 1930s.
