Earthquakes in Alabama are not uncommon occurrences. We're actually in dangerous proximity to a very significant fault line. But many folks in our state get anxious when the topic of earth-shaking is brought up, as it is a sign of the end times.
Either way, it means our state has at least one more natural disaster to fret over, in addition to tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, droughts and heat waves.
