Birmingham Weekly writer Stephen Humphreys will lead a wine tasting and gallery talk at 5:30 p.m. on'a0 Friday, March 6, at Lite Box Gallery, 2825 Second Ave. South, in Pepper Place. '93Cuba: Inside-Out,'94 which runs through March 9, features contemporary artwork Humphreys brought back from Cuba. The wines are vintages that he personally selects and imports from Argentina, now available in Alabama for the first time. Come out to sip and see.
Other noteworthy openings tonight include "Hellfire," an exhibition of outsider art created by Ulee and curated by Jim Neel, on display at Space One Eleven; and "Spirit Garden" at Bare Hands Gallery, comprised of new and recent works by Doug Baulos, Janice Kluge and Marie Weaver.
