We Poets

We Poets are painting
pictures perfectly

Providing powerful
proverbs, psalms and
verbal synergy.

Working together
enhancing the energy.

Pronouncing our
problems and sharing or
errors,

Proclaiming progress
and success in the face
of our fears and terrors.
Preparing the way for
generations to come,

Planning for prosperity,
Lord thy will be done.

We poets are striving to
create positivity,

Hoping to inspire all
humanity.

Humanity includes you
and me,

It’s a pluralistic term, as
a pronoun it means we.

We have to agree to pay
attention to what we see.

Provide intervention and
not just let things be.

We poets are trying to
give you a message and
we hope you see.

United we stand, divided
we fall,

Hold hands with your
neighbor and lets
together stand tall.
