Stylist Cindi Horton met the subject at a local dinner party and immediately identified someone in need of a new look and update. “You could tell he had been focused on other things besides his appearance."
His naturally curly hair which usually should be a delight to twirl was looking stringy and hanging limp because it had gotten too long and gained too much weight.
Even the subject admitted that in the back it was like Huckleberry Hound ears. He publicly wondered whether it was hopeless. Cindi solved this by expertly taking out some of the weight. While civilizing the subject the Tonya Jones Salon and Aveda Spa also gave him a good nose waxing. Ouch! It beats trying to trim the source of the problem, but those photos did not make it past the censor.
The final look kept the length and natural curls. The subject did not want to be plastered with product. Said Cindi, “He still wants to just step out of the shower and shake his head like a dog drying off, so it is a challenge.” So Cindi gave the subject what she calls her messy but neat treatment.
