On Saturday, December 8, Strohm will perform at Bottletree Cafe with Nashville-based singer/songwriters Kyle Andrews and Brooke Waggoner opening the show. Earlier this year, Strohm released his latest effort, Everyday Life, on Superphonic Records. Backed by the rhythm section of Drew Glackin and Konrad Meissner from The Silos, Strohm recorded the album in Birmingham, Minneapolis, Minn. and Brooklyn, N.Y. In a review for Everyday Life, No Depression magazine noted that "Strohm's writing is smart without being flashy for flash's sake." www.myspace.com/johnpstrohmmusic
