The Birmingham Jewish Federation, Alabama Possible, and civic group Catalyst are teaming up on Thursday, Jan. 21, for Fed Up With Hunger, an event designed to help raise awareness of hunger on two continents. The event will be held at Ted's Garage on Southside at 7 p.m. Attendees will enjoy food provided by restauranteur George Sarris of The Fish Market and DoDiYo's. All of the proceeds will go to the Birmingham’s Community Garden Coalition and to Table to Table, in Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel. The event will also feature music by Josh Vasa. Adults $25; online $22; students $20; $18 online. Admission includes food, as well as two alcoholic drink tickets for those ages 21 and over and two soft drinks for each attendee below legal age.
