That’s right, Eric Essix, the youngest inductee to Alabama’s Jazz Hall of Fame, is turning 50, and his recording career is turning 20. With 14 solo albums and four Birmingham Area Music Awards under his belt, this man deserves a party. The Eric Essix 50th Birthday Bash at Workplay will feature Eric Essix & The Southern Gentlemen along with special guest, former Pieces of a Dream lead vocalist Tracy Hamlin.
