The Alabama Rivers Alliance has announced that it will host its 12th annual Watershed Leadership Conference in Montgomery from Feb. 27-Mar. 2, 2010.
According to an email we received from the ARA, the conference is an educational and networking event for Alabamians concerned with clean water. Among the subjects covered at the conference are environmental science and legislative policy.
The conference in Montgomery will also include something called the Alabama Water Rally, which will allow conference attendees to take field trips, visit elected officials (after all, 2010 is an election year) and tour the offices of some of the state agencies charged with protecting Alabama waters.
