Each year the Alabama chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors gives out several Excellence Awards for a number of different categories dealing with building construction.
Contractors put together a comprehensive report on projects they think might win and submit them, and this year Stewart Perry Co. submitted entries for the new Ruffner Mountain nature center building (known officially as the Tree Top Visitors Center), which they are working on.
And you know what? They won!
Ruffner’s new facility won the Green Commercial $2-$5 Million category, and came in second in the Commercial $2-$10 Million category. Nice job, Stewart Perry, and nice job Ruffner!
