'Retired' publisher sues Newhouse

Former Mobile Press-Register Publisher Howard Bronson is suing Advance Publications and Mark Newhouse. Bronson claims he was forced into retirement, in violation of the company's job-for-life pledge. Curiously, Victor Hanson III, publisher of the Press-Register's sister paper, The Birmingham News, announced his retirement last week. Could retirement be contagious?
